Inspiration

The other day when I was at my local library and looking at books about the share economy, I wondered what it would be like if everyone could simply borrow any item from anybody who was able to lend something whenever it was needed, and not just books.

What it does

The app is a service that lets people post what they have available to borrow, as well as how long others may borrow it for and an image of the item.

How I built it

I built it in meteor.js

Challenges I ran into

Getting image uploads to work successfully.

Creating a service that can help foster closer community.

What's next for Bawro

Messaging between users, location-based lending, cooperation with emergency services during times of crisis and short supply.
