Inspiration: My friend, Samuil, was inconvenienced by having to spend time finding study links he used and wanted to use while learning online. So, he thought of creating a website/chrome extension where students and teachers could add helpful links for students to access according to major.

What it does: It collects resourceful links from students and teachers and makes them available to anyone who wants to access those according to major.

How we built it: We divided the different aspects of the website/chrome extension among our teammates. Samuil worked on the Chrome Extension using JavaScript, HTML, ChromeAPI, and CSS. He was helped by Cristian in generating ideas for the extension. Drshika worked on the front-end using HTML5 and CSS and was assisted by Dhruv in the designing. Arnav and Shreya worked on the back-end using PHP and MySQL to develop a database to store the links. Sophia worked on designing the logo and the name for the webpage.

Challenges we ran into: Getting the extension's popup to copy the user's URL, connecting the front-end to the database, connecting to a web server

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Learning new languages from scratch for the extension and the back-end

What we learned: Technical skills: Different programming languages, frameworks, and tools to develop an

                                                        application
                              Life-skills: Teamwork, persistence, adaptability, problem-solving

What's next for BSorted: Expanding to more number of majors and courses, adding features sort-by(popularity, most recent, etc.), adding user accounts
