Inspiration

I gather tons of developer information every day, either by getting Facebook promotional posts, scrolling through my Twitter timeline, finding them in my inbox, flicking through them on Flipboard. It's impossible to read them all so why not put it onto some collaboratively operated board?

What it does

Keep together article links / summaries, Meetup information and (tbd) slides and conference dates

How I built it

Symfony 3.4 / ES6

Challenges I ran into

sync PostgreSQL between heroku and my local machine. Setup a heroku pipeline.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

adapting Bootstrap 4 before everyone else did

What I learned

Bootstrap 4 and Doctrine for PostgreSQL. Blind-scrape websites using goose on PHP.

What's next for build-zeitung

conferences, better tagging, nicer layouts and automatic inbox ingestion, yay.
