Inspiration

The inspiration for this product was the frustration of trying to get the bartenders attention when trying to order a drink

What it does

Allows both you and the bartender to track drink orders much more easily without the trouble of having to get the bartender's attention

How we built it

We created a swift and Android app for the bouncer and customer, and the used CodeIgniter and Flask to create API's that would the bartender to keep track of orders, session ID's, and other information from our database

Challenges we ran into

We had a lot of code to finish, and it became very difficult to stay awake and do it! We also struggled with the idea of using a thermal printer and scanning barcodes

We are most proud of how we worked together on so many parts to fit them together

What we learned

We learned not to underestimate a project and to expect challenges along the way!

What's next for buybar

We can finish the application and ensure that it is secure enough for financial transactions and begin selling the product
