Inspiration
Our team was inspired by the increasing demand for efficient AI-driven solutions in various industries. As the modern age demand is slowly turning to AI, tools to improve quality of life should implement it too.
What it does
The first part of our project allows us to use basic hand gestures to control a PowerPoint. The second part of the project allows the use of a hand detection captcha to filter out bots. The final part of our project allows us to draw and erase on a virtual camera using commands with the hand gestures.
How we built it
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge for us was figuring out the right versions of Python libraries to make this project work. As the AI was outdated, many of the libraries were using older versions and it created issues with compatibility.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to participate for multiple challenges and to expand the AI model for multiple usage cases.
What we learned
During this hackathon, we learned how to leverage AI models to make software. We learned how to work with different libraries in Python and using version control with the different libraries.
