Inspiration

The inspiration behind CasperAI came from seeing friends struggle with the high costs of external help for CASPer exam preparation. The CASPer test, a situational judgment test commonly required for medical school admissions, can be scary and expensive to prepare for. We wanted to create an accessible, affordable, and efficient solution to help students feel more confident and prepared. Our goal was to help students by providing them with a well rounded tool to prepare for the CASPer test.

What it does

CasperAI is a AI-powered platform designed to help users prepare for the CASPer exam efficiently.

How we built it

We built CasperAI using:

Frontend: React.js for a responsive and intuitive user interface. Backend: Node.js and Express for handling AI-based computations and integrations. AI Models: GPT-based natural language processing and correcting user inputs Database: MongoDB to ensure secure and efficient data management.

Challenges we ran into

Recreating the exact time constraints and structure of the CASPer exam while maintaining performance posed some technical hurdles. Since our target audience includes students with varying levels of tech-savviness, we needed to design an interface that was both intuitive and engaging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of finishing a project in the timestamp of the hackathon.

What we learned

We learned how to use the OpenAI API to improve the preparing of students for the CASPer test. We learned how to use Node.js and Express.

What's next for CasperAI

Looking ahead, our vision for CasperAI includes:

Voice-based user input Enhancing machine learning algorithms for a better accuracy Continuously improving based on user feedback to ensure it stays relevant and valuable.
