Goal: Increase the prevention rate of forest fires through machine learning and app development.

The app is intended to be used by forest park rangers & firefighters. It gives the user a notification once a fire has been detected from satellite view snapshots. The snapshots are put through a model which we trained to recognize fire/smoke areas. It then shows the user, on a different tab, a pinpoint location of the danger area on a map.

Thus, it gives the user knowledge of possible at risk locations, prompts them to go search the area and ultimately, minimizes future fires.
