CHAiT is an AI Agent to play the bluffing card game Cheat.
Cheat is a card game where players aim to get rid of all of their cards, having to play a number of cards of rank higher than the previously played rank. Bluffing makes a large part of the game, as players aim to get rid of their cards and will discard cards of an incorrect rank in an effort to do this faster than other players.
CHAiT used Facial Emotion Recognition (FER) and Voice Recognition Models* to utilise more modes of data, in real time, to inform our AI Agent's hypothesis on whether human players are bluffing throughout the game.
