Inspiration

The play on words was too good not to...

What it does

It's a social cheese rating and sharing website. Users can share their taste in cheeses and see what other people are trying as well.

How we built it

SvelteKit, Tailwind, Pinata. Simple enough.

Challenges we ran into

Pinata is more confusing than initially assumed and the docs are missing a fair bit of context. That said, their docs context that you pass into cursor made the responses far better

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finishing the entire project by myself with the time and tech constraints. I impressed myself by what I accomplished

What we learned

I learned to use Pinata mainly. Also deal with some cookies stuff when moving from localhost to a PWA hosted on a local network.

What's next for Cheddarboxd

Cheddarboxd is going nation wide.. 10m DAU and 100k MRR by weeks end.
