Inspiration
We wanted to help society through our creation. As we were trying to look for ideas we remembered the recently celebrated Pride month. So, we decided to do something for the LGBTQ community. And through this website, we not only raise awareness about the LGBTQ society but also donate the customized clothes to charities.
What it does
Clotherizer is a cloth customizer which permits users to create a fit that is LGBTQ themed. Moreover, this clothing will then be donated to a charity by us.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS+Bootstrap, and JavaScript as our languages to create the website.
Challenges we ran into
Our lack of knowledge on databases and PHP caused us problems in coding the backend. At the moment our website can't store any details the users will provide.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have our own logo! Our customizer page has animations making it more engaging! Moreover, we are able to customize shirts, not only with colors but also badges and text! Also, the GUI of the website is very slick and user-friendly!
What we learned
We got to explore the different features of HTML like CSS, JavaScript and Canvas. Moreover, the project also taught us what we can work on both, as an individual hacker and a team member.
What's next for Clotherizer
Adding a database is the most obvious choice first. Following that, we may add a feature where the customized fits are converted to NFTs, benefiting the customer even more.
