Inspiration
I recently switched from corporate to indie and I have to admit, I miss my colleagues so much ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Office gossip was just so much fun, there was always something going on. So I decided to create a mystery game, inspired by my former corporate job.
What it does
Every day there is a new mystery at the office. Someone's snacks were stolen, a document went missing in the meeting room, it just doesn't stop. Five coworkers give their alibi, but one of them is lying!
Meet the cast
- Derek, the nervous intern, constantly trying to please everyone around him.
- Sand, the super precise HR manager who knows company protocols like the back of her hand.
- Jazz, the sleepy barista who remembers everyone's coffee orders, but forgets the days of the week.
- Marcus, the geeky IT guy who never takes off his smart watch.
- Veronica, the intimidating CFO who is always in mysterious meetings.
How we built it
This was literally all made with Kiro. I nudged it here and there, but you gotta give credit where credit is due. I had a blast!
Challenges we ran into
This was my first time building a Reddit app, so it got a little confusing at times. But, thanks to Devvit MCP and Kiro, development was very straight forward.
What's next for Cluebicle
Make it completely community driven with users submitting their own scenarios and clues.
