CodeQueen is an app designed in figma to support and empower women who are getting started in the world of technology. Here's what it does:

Learning Resources: CodeQueen provides a curated collection of tutorials, courses, and interactive learning materials specifically tailored for beginners in various tech domains. From programming languages to digital marketing users can access comprehensive resources to build their skills.
Community Engagement: The app offers a vibrant community where women can connect with like-minded individuals, engage in discussions, ask questions, and share their experiences. It fosters a supportive environment where users can network, collaborate, and learn from each other.
Opportunities: CodeQueen helps users discover internship and fellowship opportunities in the tech industry. It connects them with valuable professional experiences, allowing them to gain practical skills and build a network of connections.
Mentorship Support: Users can access mentorship programs where they can connect with experienced professionals in the tech industry. Mentors provide guidance, support, and valuable insights to help users navigate their tech journey and achieve their goals.

How we built it

To build CodeQueen, we utilized various tools and technologies, with Figma playing a significant role in the design process. Here's an overview of how we built it:

Ideation and Planning: We started by brainstorming and defining the core features and functionalities of CodeQueen. We conducted market research, gathered user feedback, and created a comprehensive plan for the app's development.
User Interface Design with Figma: Figma, a collaborative design tool, was instrumental in creating the app's user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). We utilized its powerful features to design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. Figma's collaborative capabilities enabled our team to work seamlessly together and iterate on designs

Challenges we ran into

Managing time and feature selection were challenges we faced while working on this project. Balancing multiple tasks and responsibilities was a struggle, requiring effective time management and prioritization. Choosing which features to include was difficult due to a plethora of ideas. However, we learned to allocate time wisely and make informed decisions based on project scope and user needs, resulting in a focused and impactful product.
