Inspiration

Many students struggle with technical interviews because they lack real-time, peer-to-peer practice. While platforms like LeetCode and AlgoExpert offer great problem sets, they often come with high subscription costs, making them inaccessible to many students. Colleges also don’t provide structured coding interview training from day one, leaving students unprepared until their final year. CodingPairHub was born out of the need for a free, interactive, and community-driven platform where students can practice mock coding interviews in real time, develop problem-solving skills early, and build meaningful connections.

What it does

CodingPairHub is a peer-to-peer coding platform designed for students to practice mock interviews in real time. It offers: 1) Smart Matchmaking: Matches students based on difficulty level (Easy, Medium, Hard) and topics (e.g., Dynamic Programming, System Design).

2) Live Coding Together: A real-time collaborative code editor supporting multiple programming languages.

3) Video Calling: Integrated video chat for seamless communication during interviews.

4) Turn-Based Interview Mode: One student codes while the other provides guidance, with timed role-switching.

5) University Collaboration: Colleges can upload their own coding questions to help students prepare for specific interviews.

How we built it

We divided work individually based on our designing skills.

Challenges we ran into

Not everyone knows how to use figma. We learned and it took some time. We build an idea that was incomplete and needed to work more.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We believe in the idea that is widely acceptable and applicable through almost all the university students studying in the field of computer science.

What we learned

How we can design website and which is officially called UI/UX. We observed user interface, experience, and behavior.

What's next for CodingPairHub

Coding Competition through multiple universities.
