Inspiration
The Everyday struggle of my fellow classmates with maintaining focus in an increasingly distraction-filled world inspired me to innovate a solution. Traditional web-based productivity apps often fail to adapt to personal and are a one-size fits all solution. CogniTime stemmed from the idea that a productivity timer should not only track time but delve into various psychological insights in order to boost user's productivity by a significant margin. By blending psychological insights with adaptive design, it aims to help users regain control, optimize focus, and build healthier, more sustainable habits.
What it does
CogniTime is a web-based productivity tool that uses psychological insights to boost your focus. In contrast to conventional pomodoro timers, it adjusts work and break times according to your actual performance boosting your productivity by a significant margin (60%). Its Focus score provides immediate feedback and motivation by tracking your concentration using time-on-task, task completion, and break efficiency. CogniTime also supports single-task productivity, which reduces decision fatigue and micromanagement. It enhances deep focus by removing distractions and streamlining your workspace. Supported by behavioral science and psychological insights, it's a system for meaningful, long-lasting productive habits rather than just a timer
