Navigating the world of grocery shopping and meal preparation can be a daunting task for college students amidst their busy schedules. Recognizing this common struggle, we were inspired to develop an innovative solution that streamlines the entire process, from creating a shopping list to whipping up delicious meals with ease. Our aim is to empower every student with the tools they need to effortlessly manage their grocery needs and culinary adventures.

What it does

Our groundbreaking app harnesses the power of the Wakefern API to provide users with a seamless shopping experience. By extracting comprehensive data, including item details, prices, discounts, and loyalty program information, our platform offers users a curated selection of grocery items at their fingertips. The intuitive interface allows users to effortlessly navigate through departments, add items to their cart, and arrange for convenient delivery to their doorstep.

One of the standout features of our app is the integration of Cloudflare AI, which powers a sophisticated chatbot capable of assisting users in meal planning. Through natural language processing, users can engage with the chatbot to discover recipes tailored to their preferences and dietary restrictions. Moreover, the chatbot seamlessly adds all necessary ingredients to the user's cart, eliminating the hassle of manually compiling shopping lists.

Furthermore, our utilization of Cloudflare AI extends to the generation of dynamic images for each item in our database. This innovative approach ensures that our platform remains visually engaging and up-to-date as new items are added to the inventory. How we built it

CookingMama was meticulously crafted using React Native, a powerful framework renowned for its flexibility and performance in mobile app development. Leveraging the robust capabilities of Cloudflare's Workers AI, we seamlessly integrated advanced chatbot functionalities into our platform. Despite encountering challenges in connecting different components of the project, our team's dedication and expertise enabled us to overcome obstacles and deliver a polished product.

Challenges we ran into
