Inspiration
- We thought about the problems that people face, and how we can provide a solution against it. We saw that a lot of shops are not listed in google maps and a lot of people are not able to find the shops nearby them to get the goods they want. Hence, we made CoShop to connect the people to their nearby shops based on their location.
What it does
CoShop is an exclusive E-commerce Website established to connect people to their nearby shops to find the goods easily. Based on their location, shops will be recommended and they can order the things from them. Many people do not know about the shops in their locality, also many shops are not registered on google maps, hence, we provide a way for the people to shop cooperatively with the other shops.
How we built it
- We had fixed a time, on which everyday we worked on this project.
- We thought of the schemas required and wrote it down for making the project.
- We learnt FastApi and made the backend using it.
- Frontend was created by using pure HTML/CSS/JS
Challenges we ran into
- Incorporating backend with the frontend.
- Making the animations and authentications for the website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Managing efficiently, teamwork, and learning about so many different technologies.
- Creating the Frontend and Backend in a short time.
What we learned
- Learned how to talk and make group projects
- How to make APIs with Python
- Write to more friends :D
What's next for CoShop
- Some features are pending like proper authentication, auto location fetching, auto distance calculation, and more. They will be added in the future.
Future Scope of CoShop:
Shop Owners can create their own brand, create a franchise, boost the supply chain, and increase their revenue.
Consumers can enjoy various benefits and find the same things at the nearest location by eliminating the middlemen.
Improve the website, setup better authentication features, delivery systems, and add in more features.
