Inspiration

It is common knowledge that one of the top priorities of students is their grades. We wanted to create something that would help students obtain higher scores, by helping them study more efficiently.

What it does

CreateSheet gives students the ability to create their own cheatsheets for the subject they need. The website provides formulas, key terms, and concepts that students can select to appear on their cheatsheet. They are able to create an account and log in to access any of the cheatsheets they've made previously. Students can also choose to export their cheatsheet into a PDF file. Currently students can only create a cheatsheet for chemistry.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create the website's appearance. As for the backend, we utilized JavaScript and SQL.

Challenges we ran into

We had a few problems with the backend in addition to minor issues with the CSS code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to create a functioning website that was very similar to how we imagined it to be.

What we learned

We learned to link the frontend and backend, use a database, and how to add an export option to our website. We were also able to get more practice with building websites and styling them.

What's next for CreateSheet

In the future, we might add more subjects so that students will be able to create cheatsheets for more of their classes.
