Inspiration

The inspiration behind Credeem came from our own experiences as consumers struggling to manage multiple loyalty points across various stores. We realized the need for a solution that simplifies the process of collecting and redeeming loyalty points while also offering a something to do with unused points. Our goal was to create a seamless loyalty program experience for users as well as businesses.

What it does

Credeem is a mobile app that simplifies the loyalty program space by allowing users to collect and redeem loyalty points from multiple partner stores. Its unique point swapping feature enables users to exchange points between businesses, maximizing their rewards and simplifying loyalty program management. It also acts as a platform that enables businesses to participate in a loyalty program ecosystem, tapping into a wider customer base and fostering customer engagement. If a store provides excellent deals and services, Credeem offers them the opportunity to stand out and attract customers from other businesses.

How we built it

We built Credeem using Flutter, a cross-platform framework, to create a seamless and intuitive mobile app experience. The backend infrastructure leverages Near blockchain technology and smart contracts to handle point swapping securely and transparently.

Challenges we ran into

One of the major challenges we ran into while development was figuring out how to fund a user's gas fees in the process of swapping creds

We are proud of successfully creating a platform that enhances user engagement and unlocks the full potential of loyalty point system for both the customers and the businesses.

What we learned

During the development, we deepened our understanding of blockchain technology and its application in our app. User-centered design principles and agile development methodologies were essential learnings for creating a successful product.

What's next for Credeem

In the future, we plan to complete the mobile app and add features such as the ability to purchase store credits from Credeem at discounted prices. We aim to develop a business-side client that allows businesses to issue credits and view analytics. Additionally, we will explore options like charging businesses a nominal fee for staying on the platform and offering special rewards like NFTs to loyal customers. Furthermore, we plan to integrate gas fee payment solutions like Pagoda Relayer or Meta transactions to facilitate onboarding for new users without Near.
