Our Solution

Introducing Crowd Safe, the ultimate event safety app! Our solution is a platform designed to enhance the security and well-being of people at large gatherings like concerts and raves. With a focus on tackling summer-related concerns such as heat strokes and heat waves, Crowd Safe sends rapid alerts to security and paramedics, guaranteeing help for emergencies.

Inspiration

We've observed a significant number of individuals experiencing heat stroke or heat exhaustion at summer concerts, emphasizing the critical need for swift emergency assistance. Therefore, we aim to enhance the efficiency of our security and medical teams in promptly identifying and aiding those in distress.

What it does

Our app is meant to receive help during emergencies at large gatherings, such as concerts, sports games and raves. It aims to enhance safety and well-being for individuals in places where it is generally difficult to receive help.

How we built it

We have used the platform Figma to create the prototype for the app and photoshop to create some designs and the logo.

Challenges we ran into

We want to make sure the flow of the app screens are smooth and correct, so we went through them many, many times. We also want to convey the solution clearly, so we needed to spend a lot of time on the presentation to keep our presentation concise.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were delighted to discover the ease of learning and utilizing Figma, which facilitated the successful creation of our app. Our communication throughout the weekend was exceptionally smooth, allowing us to collaborate effectively.

What we learned

We learned to use Figma to create powerful and detailed prototypes for not only our application, but also the presentation. We learned a variety of Photoshop features and strengthened our research skills to gather credible information.

What's next for Crowd Safe

Crowd Safe can implement an AI model that gathers the weather for concert days to predict heavy app usage and medical emergencies, or recommend preventative measures. Crowd Safe can be integrated with existing emergency services, include accessibility features, and incentivize the public through learning modules and badges.
