Inspiration

The way technology has grown in the past couple of years and the way terms like blockchain and cryptocurrencies have attracted attention is brilliant, and it is the advancement in technology that inspires. People have started seeing cryptocurrencies as potential asset classes and a way to store their money in future. The problem with that, however, is that the crypto market and prices of cryptocurrencies are very volatile in themselves, which makes it difficult for few people to invest or trade. We wanted to create a one-stop solution for all crypto geeks or for someone who has a lot of interest and wants to keep themselves updated with the market trends.

What it does

Our project is a cryptocurrency website that uses Rapid API to fetch real-time information and deliver comprehensive insights to users. Our platform offers a user-friendly interface that allows users to explore a wide range of cryptocurrencies, tokens, and exchanges, empowering them to stay informed and make educated decisions.

Key Features

Crypto Currency Overview: Our site provides an extensive collection of cryptocurrencies and tokens, allowing users to delve into their profiles, histories, and performance data. Stay up-to-date with the latest information on market capitalization, trading volume, and circulating supply.
Exchange Details: Discover in-depth information about popular crypto exchanges, including trading pairs, transaction fees, and user reviews. Compare different exchanges to find the one that suits your needs.
Real-time Price Tracking: Get access to live price data for various cryptocurrencies. Track price movements, view historical charts, and analyze market trends to make informed investment decisions.
News Section: Stay informed about the latest developments in the crypto industry. Our dedicated news section provides curated articles and updates related to specific cryptocurrencies, ensuring you never miss important news that could impact your investments.
Graphical Analysis: Analyze the performance of cryptocurrencies through detailed graphs and charts. Identify patterns, track historical price movements, and gain insights into market trends to enhance your trading strategies.
Comprehensive Stats: Access a wide range of statistical data related to cryptocurrencies, including market capitalization, trading volume, price changes, and more. Stay on top of the market and make data-driven decisions.

How we built it

We have utilised the power of Rapid API and use the data provided with it to implement the price, graph chart, news, stats etc. For FrontEnd and to design items/components we have used React and ANT design. We have also used Netlify to host our site.

Challenges we ran into

While working on the project, the biggest challenge was to be able to implement the graph chart for cryptocurrency prices. Initially, we did run into a problem with API data, but soon we were able to implement the chart functionality, allowing users to check prices over a certain period of time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a fully functional app and implementing the basic feature within the allotted period of the hackathon. We are also happy to implement the graph chart and analysis for every cryptocurrency.

What we learned

Through this project, we have learned more about the crypto market and its insights. Making correct use of data from APIs and ensuring a smooth user-friendly experience are a couple of other learnings.

What's next for CryptBlaze

There are a couple of things that we would like to improve in the future. We want to integrate a chatbot into our website, which would help the cause of user awareness. It would also help in solving doubts or answering queries about the platform or crypto market.
