Inspiration
After a long defeat of getting absolutely destroyed by the PA's, we thought, what if we put our profs to the test and made them fight. Introducing CSE FIGHTER, a revolutionary, high-quality fighting game featuring all our favorite CSE staff. From Ethan to Dave, bring your friends together and put your professor to the test!
What it does
It's a fighting video game that uses CSE professors as characters.
How we built it
We used the Unity Game Engine to build our game. We also used Aesprite to get our art done, and occasionally used a software called SmackStudios to get rigging and animation processes.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into some complications with getting the majority of the professors in. We also had a challenging time understanding how global variables, such as keeping track of character selection for player 1 and player 2.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The game works, and Ethan and Alan are fighting!
What we learned
We learned a lot about how a full Unity game works from building scenes and obtaining global game data from other scenes. We also expanded our horizons to other subjects such as UI/UX development and user interaction.
What's next for CSE Fighter
A bigger, badder roster!
