Inspiration

The respectable and kind owners of Dino Luzzi inspired us to create a service to help foreign exchange students connect with people from their cultures away from home.

What it does

Allows user to chat with anyone on the platform

How we built it

The web service was built using a combination of flask, html, and bootstrap.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into many challenges throughout the course of this project. From switching our backend from Django to Flask as well as switch between Html and React several times, we learned a lot about web development.

What's next for CultureConnection

We will continue developing the service so that the other functionalities we could not finish can be completed like the private messages and culture based group chats
