Inspiration
The inspiration for CyberZo came from the growing need for accessible and user-friendly cybersecurity tools. With increasing cyber threats and data breaches, we wanted to create a platform that empowers users to safeguard their online presence. We were motivated by the desire to simplify complex cybersecurity processes and make them available to everyone, regardless of their technical background.
What it does
CyberZo is an all-in-one cybersecurity platform offering a variety of essential tools:
- Password Checker: Helps users evaluate the strength of their passwords, providing actionable feedback to improve security.
- Passage Locker: Encrypts and decrypts sensitive text passages to ensure data privacy.
- Website Scanner: Scans websites for vulnerabilities, alerting users about potential security risks.
How we built it
We built CyberZo using a combination of:
- HTML/CSS: For front-end design and responsiveness.
- JavaScript: To implement interactive features such as password strength checking and text encryption.
- API Integration: For the website scanning tool, we leveraged third-party cybersecurity APIs to deliver real-time results.
- Advanced Encryption: We implemented a custom encryption algorithm to ensure that the passage locker provides robust security for users.
Challenges we ran into
