Inspiration

The inspiration for this application came from a group discussion about finances and the desire to gamify the budgeting process. Despite the growing number of budgeting apps in the market, there was not anything that offered the type of interactive and enjoyable experience that the team desired.

What it does

The application is a budgeting app that incorporates game elements such as rewards and progress tracking to make budgeting more interactive and enjoyable. It allows users to input and track their expenses and income, set budgets for different categories, and provides alerts and reminders. Additionally, it syncs with bank accounts and credit cards to provide a full picture of the user's financial health, generates reports and visualizations, and allows users to share their progress with friends and compete with them.

How we built it

We built the application using Figma to create high-fidelity frames. The team worked together to design the interface and develop the features, taking into account user feedback and testing.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges that we ran into was the limited time available to develop the application. Additionally, we encountered some difficulties in finding a way to make the budgeting process interactive and enjoyable for users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating an application that offers an interactive and enjoyable way of budgeting, which is not found in the marketplace. Additionally, we believe that we have created an application that is accessible, user-friendly, and easy to navigate.

What we learned

We learned about the importance of user feedback and testing in the development process, as well as the importance of creating an engaging user experience.

What's next for Bud

The next step for the application is to develop it into a fully functional product. We plan to add more features and continue to improve the user experience based on feedback.
