Inspiration
The inspiration behind DermAwarewas to provide accessible and instant dermatological diagnosis to anyone, anywhere. We wanted to bridge the gap between individuals and skin health expertise using technology.
What it does
DermAware allows users to take a picture of a skin issue and receive instant diagnosis and information about the condition. Our AI analyzes the image and provides accurate identification of skin diseases, empowering users to take control of their skin health.
How we built it
Challenges we ran into
At first, we wanted to do a similar project for bug bites; however, the datasets we found were too small and innacurate to provide relevant and accurate diagnoses. We did however find a dataset for numerous skin diseases that proved to be accurate.

What's next for DermAware
