Inspiration
The inspiration behind DiaScan came from a deeply personal experience. One of our team members has a close family member living with diabetes, and we witnessed firsthand the daily struggles and challenges they faced in managing their condition. This inspired us to create a solution that would make diabetes management more accessible, efficient, and personalized for individuals and healthcare providers.
What it does
This app simplifies diabetes management by allowing users to scan lab reports via OCR, extract vital data, and utilize machine learning for real-time health insights. It offers personalized diet plans, end-to-end management tools, and serves healthcare professionals for efficient patient care. With performance tracking, DiaScan empowers users to take control of their health, making diabetes management accessible, efficient, and personalized. Also the doctor can access the data to monitor the patients health throughout the treatment period.
How we built it
To create DiaScan, our team plans to:
Develop a user-friendly web application or Mobile app depending on B2B and B2C. Integrate state-of-the-art OCR technology for accurate lab report extraction. Implement machine learning algorithms to provide personalized health insights and diet plans. Create a secure and scalable backend infrastructure to support user data and healthcare provider integration. Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine the app's features and user experience.
