Inspiration
We love fun facts about dinosaurs and we wanted to share that love with the world. We also see that the world is stuck on the phone constantly scrolling and being a zombie. We wanted to make something that will help advance yourself in knowledge but not leave you addicted to another algorithm. The only addictions here is the addiction to learning!
What it does
DinoQuiz is an interactive game in which you can learn all the amazing facts about dinosaurs. This fun device interfaces with Kintone to download different questions and upload your score to webpage using the native Kintone API.
How we built it
We used a variety of hardware and software to create our device. Our software bolstered the capabilities of the hardware and made our product both interactive and fun to play. We used an ESP8266 micro controller with wifi capabilities. This device interacts directly with the Kintone platform and updates records that are on Kintone.
Challenges we ran into
We had issues interacting with the API. We also ran into a few issues with our hardware but were able to overcome these issues with hard work and dedication. Melding our minds together was our strongest asset in this venture.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created a device that can be used to challenge the mind and be used on the go.
What we learned
It is very hard to work with APIs if you do not have full control over the server.
What's next for DinoQuiz
We plan on moving to mass production and appearing on shark tank to pitch our idea.
