Inspiration
The inspiration for came from a lot of my own experience. Imposter syndrome is something that I struggle with a lot, but after a lot of work in therapy, I've learned how to deal with the self-doubt that it comes with.
What it does
This is an interactive animation. It's a little like a narrative game.
How we built it
Phaser 3.
Challenges we ran into
Well, I had to learn the framework in two days before the hackathon.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm very proud of the polish of this project. I worked hard on all of the little details.
What we learned
I learned a LOT of Javascript. I remember in 10th grade, I wanted to learn ReactJS but couldn't, and have stayed away from Javascript since. But now, I feel relatively comfortable working with it.
What's next for
I'm trying to get it on itch.io right now. This is a prototype and I believe will stay as such. Unless the response is truly overwhelming, I don't think I'm going to continue work on the project. Sorry to Vivian, Mingmei, Angel, and Rebecca, the characters I was planning to implement if I continued with the project.
