Inspiration

We were inspired by how none of us has ever been to a waste management facility and properly disposed of our hazardous materials.

What it does

Dumpo connects the consumer, recycling companies, and local businesses while creating incentives for all parties involved.

How we built it

We equipped Figma and are currently working with Xcode and Swift (in progress). Additionally, we used OpenSource AI (Image AI) in order to create our computer vision algorithm.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into the challenge of boiling our idea to an executable idea -- starting small.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of incorporating the knowledge from our courses (Machine Learning, AI, and Computer Vision) in creating our end-product. Also, we are proud of winning the cup-stacking contest.

What we learned

We learned to not be afraid to try new things and take on large projects in a short period of time. We also learned to manage our time and scale our ideas accordingly.
