Our app aims to address this by providing comprehensive financial guidance and fostering daily usage through motivational encouragement. But, we also wanted make sure that users make financial decisions that help the environment... thus we created Eco-I
What it does
There are going to be min-lessons and tips that will teach users about the best ways to handle their finances. These lessons will help them become knowledgeable about personal finance. This includes interactive activities in the lessons that can help reinforce the concepts taught and encourage active participation. We also included stock data and investing tips to provide users with valuable information to make informed financial decisions, leading to increased chances of success. We also provided users with a way a personalized spending plan which allows them to track how much money they spend on needs, wants, and savings. This will allow users to be more aware of their money and make sure they spend their money wisely. This will also allow users to track their spendings in a way that allows them to clearly see their spending break-downs. But, our most unique feature is the Eco-Friendly Financial Decisions. This is an interactive application that encourages users to make financially sound decisions while also helping the environment by utilizing a 'virtual earth.' Whenever, the user makes a smart financial decision that also helps the environment... their earth becomes cleaner. The more of these decisions they make, the cleaner their Earth will become. And, after clean the entire Earth by making these smart decisions they will get a reward. This will encourage users to make smart financial decisions while also being environmentally aware as this virtual application motivates them to make environmentally healthy decisions.
How we built it
We built this application through Repl-it, and we used Java. We also utilized Wix to build a website that would further explain the app and emphasize our goal.
Challenges we ran into
One main challenge was implementing our ideas with the programming skill we had. In addition, we had some trouble with replit being really slow. But, our main challenge was connecting all these different aspects of the Hack. For instance, we had a lot of trouble where when the user accessed the spendings and savings calculator they couldn't go back to home or any of the other aspects of this Hack.

An accomplishment that I am proud of is getting this done within this short amount of time and how we managed to pull of everything we intended to.

What's next for Eco-I
We would like to enhance the graphics. Enhancing graphics make it visually appealing and engaging for users. Eye-catching visuals can grab users' attention and create a positive first impression, encouraging them to explore the app further. Graphics can effectively communicate complex information or data in a simplified and visually appealing manner. Charts, graphs, infographics, and diagrams can help users understand financial concepts, trends, and comparisons more easily. We would also like to establish a connection between the app and users bank account. By establishing a connection with users' bank accounts, our app can deliver personalized lessons and effectively track their financial decisions. This feature offers the opportunity to verify users' purchases and transactions, enhancing the accuracy and relevance of the learning experience. Another connection to establish is between the stock market stimulator live data. This is will allow users to practice with current world situations. We would also like to utilize financial advisors. Financial advisors bring their expertise and knowledge in various areas of finance, such as investment strategies, retirement planning, budgeting, and tax management. By having them as instructors and tutors within the app, users can benefit from their experience and receive accurate and up-to-date information. This personalized guidance can help users make informed on decisions and improve their financial literacy. We would also like to turn this into an app available in the app store.
