Ensemble is a social music streamer meant to bring people who love music together. Instead of trading an auxiliary cable around or dealing with Bluetooth paring, Ensemble seamlessly combines multiple users across multiple music streaming services including Google Play Music and YouTube.
Your Music
Get access to your streaming music library by logging into your own account. Ensemble supports Google Play Music and YouTube, with flexibility to support any other streaming service with an API.
Your Friends
Invite your friends to build a collaborative playlist with each other's music. Decide whose songs are currently playing and rest easy knowing you don't have to fiddle with paring or tangled cables.
Your Device
Ensemble is built to be cross platform. Control an Ensemble player via the web or your mobile phone. Ensemble players support OS X, Windows, and Linux. We've even targeted Raspberry Pi for a dedicated low cost player.
Our Story
We are three students from the University of Texas at Austin studying electrical engineering and computer science. We each love music but find it difficult to mesh each other's different tastes in music. In an effort to make this process easier and to have an easy to use music solution for our apartment, we set out to build Ensemble.
