Inspiration

As a recruiter, once the applicant(s) are screened and ready for the interview with hiring managers, there is a considerable time delay to get the interview schedules from the respective hiring team due to their day to day activities and other internal business priorities. Mostly due to the time availability of the hiring manager as they find it difficult to run through pages of resume content of multiple candidates. Hence, Entrevoir - helps the recruiter to dispatch a link to the hiring team such that the hiring manager and the interviewer team could listen to the key highlights of candidate(s) even when they're on the move (driving, running, exercising, walking, etc.,)

What it does

Entrevoir transforms traditional hiring practices by enabling the recruiting and hiring team to listen to the key highlights from the applicant, candidate resumes over seamless integration of voice technology.

As a recruiter, entrevoir user interface helps the recruiter to quickly create a collection of screened profiles / resumes of the applicant, mark them and push them individually or as a collection to the respective hiring manager so that the audio highlights of the applicant's resume are available for the hiring team to access while on the go.
As a hiring manager, entrevoir user interface helps the hiring manager and the team to quickly sort through the list of candidates, their audio profile highlight content and listen to them while on the go as well as mark the ones that could progress on to the next step in the hiring process.

How we built it

AI/ML API Platform, Pinecone RAG, Tailwind, Node.js, Text To Speech Model

Challenges we ran into

Uploading the resume files to have them indexed in vector database
Text To Speech (TTS) of the output of the key highlights of the content (audio files)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

coming together as a team with like-minded members; totally new introductions
learning the open source AI tech stack with all the wonderful available tutorials
designing solution that changes life for good for hard working teams using AI/ML
creating a solution that helps to improve the productivity and satisfaction rate

What we learned

Use of open source tools and technologies help us rapidly prototype, develop AI applications that can benefit a wider user group globally
Short hackathon events with less time enables one to explore and collaborate with new team members who all align together to work towards a common goal
