Inspiration
As college students, we created Eventii to make easier for people to have a good time on a budget!
What it does
Searches and groups 'Happy Hours' of local restaurants, pubs, bars, clubs, etc. Provides discount information, promos, and reviews.
Challenges we ran into
Formatting/Architecture, using Materialize for styling after being introduced to it in the workshop by Wyncode, putting our idea together and creating a flawless UI design.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
1) Learning HTML, CSS, Javascript, 2) First hackathon for half of the team, 3) Finishing the project in time to demo!
What we learned
Time management skills, collaboration skills, working with Materialize and stylesheets.
