🔥Inspiration!

We three techies Jayanth, Prashant and Paavani(myself) have decided to build an amazing online voting application EVM.eth. Our inspiration comes from the third rate politicians who play an evil role in elections by doing Rigging in elections, their unrealistic manifestos & we need better decentralised way of conducting elections other than trusting election commission (centralised system) blindly. The future of human just doesn’t trust centralised authority anymore!

🤩What it does?

It is an electronic voting machine build in a decentralised manner which saves times, which eradicates rigging , trusted by everyone because of no centralised authority involves so that nobody can cheat in the elections anymore.

🤔How we built it?

We built using Ethereum blockchain & wrote smart contracts in solidity, truffle framework. We used twillo to send a email to the voter after successfully voting. We deploy the dapp in google cloud with firebase.

😉Challenges we ran into...

The main challenge we faces was to complete our application in sucha short span of time and coordinating with fellow team-mates. We faced many errors but we were successful in resolving them after seeking help from the community and twitter.

⚙️What we learned?

We learned about decentralised system cons & pros,working with ethereum blockchain, solidity & mainly how smart contracts helpful in building a great future. We also team-coordination which is very important these days.

What's next for Vote made simple?

We’re looking to add the DID’s, self sovereign identity to vote, less gass fees by using polygon.
