Inspiration
We have trouble waking up with a regular alarm, so we created a new one!
What it does
It will help wake you up with increasingly obnoxious methods, ranging from a simple voice command to slapping you and finally dumping water on you!
How we built it
We used Arduinos for the main logic and hardware of it, along with a couple motors and servos and face recognition to detect if you're still in bed.
Challenges we ran into
A major challenge we had was the actual physics of putting together such a device.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It works pretty well, and well within the time limit.
What we learned
How to laser cut, and that it's better to laser cut parts rather than stitch cardboard together
What's next for WhackAlarm
Make a better frame with more time and resources.
