Inspiration
The inspiration for this project came from thinking of ways that we could leverage AI technologies and UI design to create an easily digestible and understandable information dashboard for underwriters.
What it does
It takes all the data the Federator API provides. It sorts them into acceptable/not acceptable based on the given ranges, while weighing the importance of each factor on a case-by-case basis to create a priority score for the underwriters to alleviate most of the tedious work. It presents this data in a visual manner using various UI elements. They can also review the files and categories and make adjustments as needed.
How we built it
- Throughly asking the Federado workshop leads questions about the role understakers have in the insurance process, what they do, what difficulties they face, and how Federato aims to help
- Brainstorm ways we could simplify this complex information and optimize Federato's tools
- Low-fidelity prototype on paper
- Backend work on integrating AI models to calculate and weigh the given data to give priority score
- High fidelity design mock-up on Figma
- Front end development on React
- Integration of front end and back end to display the data on the interface
