Inspiration
Our interest in the female reproductive system was sparked by our classroom experiences. We discussed the idea of using minigames to teach us about the inner workings of our bodies.
What it does
The app offers comprehensive information while also letting users have fun and practice their knowledge through minigames. The minigames cover a variety of subjects, including women's rights, sexually transmitted diseases, and the inner workings of female genitalia.
How we built it
We identified these issues:
lack of understanding of the female reproductive system's mechanisms
a lack of knowledge regarding the sexually transmitted diseases to which women and girls are susceptible
Rights of women, self-defense strategies for women and girls
Used Platforms: Javascript, expo, & react native (coding the mini game) figma & canva ( Marketing and designing) capcut & clipchamp (demo video)
## Challenges we ran into
We took a lot of time coding the mini game, it was pretty difficult for us to also work doing such a short period or time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We make a functional mini game as well as manage to have the app operating.
What we learned
We have learned more about the female reproductive system than we had in school. We have also learned to design on figma as well as incorporating it into our coding.
What's next for Fidelle
We will advance our mini games, as well as offering more mini games, Partner up with educators and government programs, having students run our app in school.
