Inspiration
Christian's bike broke and he was fixing it right before this hackathon. So we thought, what if there is an AI where you can snap a picture of where your bike is broken, prompts you to answer some questions about the situation, and just fetch you the resources to fix it? What's better, it doesn't just fix bikes. It can give suggestions to find the resources!
What it does
User uploads image of "what's going wrong". Then the AI analyzes the image and asks questions about the context. It teaches you to prompt better and actually _ think _, instead of just asking AI.
How we built it
We created a flask backend to which then takes user input query the Gemini api
Challenges we ran into
We ran into many challenges throughout the competition. None of us had any idea how to utilize ai agents nor anything beyond basic flask and html experience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
IT WORKS! We didn't have too many merge conflicts! The loading screen bear is so GOATed! And you can toggle to switch between light and dark mode.
What we learned
We learned how to develop a full stack web app with each of us learning different elements of the web page.
What's next for 404Fix
We will continue to try and help people answer their questions quickly and effectively.
