Inspiration

I found myself recently checking my phone 90 times a day and with a screen time of 9 hour , tried multiple times to change habits but to no avail. Then at the start of this hackathon it struck me to built something interactive that is fun enough to spend time on and increase my efficiency while being on phone.

What it does

FocusZone has many features mainly focusing on pomorodo technique which is a popular time management method that helps improve productivity and focus by breaking work into short, timed intervals called "pomodoros." Each pomodoro is typically 25 minutes long, followed by a short break of 5 minutes. After completing four pomodoros, a longer break of 15-30 minutes is taken. Personal Focus This helps you keep track of your progress at your own pace with features like streak , time spent etc. Focus Enhancing This helps in concentrating with a soothing enviroment created by pleasent music and calm interface. Traning Games This a game built to increase good incentive in user to study more minutes to increse their power in order to play more. Notebook Record your progress in the journey of increasing your focus.

How we built it

The frontend is built with React js and TailwindCSS and the source code is uploded on github and deployed in vercel.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge i ran into was the time constraint due to which i solely couldn't finish a few features of the website and as a frontend developer it was tough to look out for the backend components of website.

What's next for FocusZone

i would complete the components of the website and enhance the user experience to more calmer pace. I would also love to add more features such as personalize spotify playlist and a catalog of notebooks created.
