Inspiration
FootyDAO is inspired by how fans interact with sports using blockchain technology. FootyDAO aims to bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds of soccer fandom.
What it does
FootyDAO allows fans to join or host events without a staking mechanism. It features a NFT marketplace where users can purchase sporting memories.
How we built it
Chainlink is a core part of the project. We have used chainlink CCIP to allow multichain game creation, ability to join games from any chain. The weekly reward distribution of Chiliz tokens is done using chainlink functions and automation.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating Chiliz tokens was solved using chainlink functions that allows us to use off-chain data and integrate it on-chain to be able to use other chains.

Having a multichain app using chainlink CCIP.

We have learned how to integrate chainlink functions and chainlink ccip.
