🔥Inspiration!

The Inspiration for building the chatbot came from the COVID 19 period. Here, at this time everyone was forced to sit at home and the covid patients were isolated. They have no one near them with whom they can talk or with whom they can share their feelings so we planned to make this app where users can have a friendly chat.

🤩What it does do?

The main motive of this BuddyBot is to listen and help people to face depression and to overcome stress it's a funny bot that can make users laugh and can talk like a real person

🤔How we built and What Challenges we faced ?

We faced various challenges while building the bot. First of all the biggest challenge we faced was the time duration the time allotted was just 2 days and another biggest challenge we faced was that the bot building part on Azure had been highly updated and there wasn’t proper documentation on how we use that properly. So the building of knowledge base was easy and building the bot was also an easy part but the main problem faced was in the publishing the bot (Integrating the knowledge base with the azure bot) Earlier it was easy as we had to integrate it just with the web ai bot but now it was having a lots of changes in it. Finally after the 8-9th attempt we were able to integrate the bot and deploy the bot. After that we Applied the Multifactor authentication with SWAGO and also made the site for the Azure bot.

What we learned

There were a lot of different skills we learned such as multi factor authentication with Swago and how to create a Q and A . Additionally, we learned what kinds of bots we can build using Azure Cognitive Services .

What's next for YourBot

Our next step is to gather information from chats of users interacting with one another and feed it into the bot's database so that it can learn from the conversations and act like a human.
