#🍉 Fruitylicious: Game Journey
🌟 What Inspired us
Fruitylicious was born from a love for quirky physics and those oddly satisfying chain reactions. Watching tiny fruits bounce, merge, and grow into a massive one—it's mesmerizing. I wanted to capture that delight and sprinkle in my own flavor: playful visuals, tight game mechanics, and an addictive loop that keeps players saying, "Just one more drop..."
What it does
-Merge - Merging identical fruits
-Pathway - Gain points to unlock themes
🏗️ How We Built It
- Game Mechanic Created a progression using typescript and codeblocks
- Theme Design: Designed the themes and new coins in maya
Challenges we ran into
-Glitches - Stumbled across a few bugs/glitches
Accomplishments that we're proud of
-UI design - First time scripting and designing an UI
📚 What We Learned
- Physics-based interactions: Fine-tuned how objects bounce and merge.
- Sprite animation: Learned to sequence squash-and-stretch effects for juicy satisfaction.
What's next
-More themes - More themes coming
