Inspiration Easter is getting near, so we want to make a bunny robot that can go up to people and show some love on this holiday.
How it works FunnyBunny has 2 wheels attached to 2 servos, which are controlled by the Myo armband to make the bunny move forward, rotate left and rotate right. FunnyBunny has 3 distance sensors, one in the front, one on the left and one on the right; these distance sensors can detect obstacles and stop the bunny even if the user's giving another command. When the user decides to stop the bunny (when the bunny reaches someone!), the bunny will say lovely words to that person through the RGB backlight display and offer a rose!
Challenges I ran into How to communicate from Myo to the running bunny via Bluetooth. First we tried to use Intel Edison, but we ran into some challenges communicating our laptop and the Myo with Edison.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of is that we have learned how to use Myo armband, Arduino Bluetooth Module and the RGB backlight display overnight!
What I learned how Bluetooth communication for Arduino works and how to use Myo to control applications on our laptops.
What's next for FunnyBunny We can attach a camera to FunnyBunny's head to transfer images back to the user, so that the user can know where Bunny is and give commands to FunnyBunny to reach people who the user can't reach on her own.
