Inspiration
As a student, being organized and battling time management can be a hassle. A productive and task-oriented app would solve those problems by helping manage and tackle small tasks one at a time. This would keep not only students, but others who want to expand their knowledge on a topic or starting a new hobby.
What we learned
During the process of brainstorming and developing this project, we have learned that the project process itself requires lots of time and how different elements are implemented. Since our team is new to coding, we got a taste of creating a project from scratch and gaining insight of the design process. From brainstorming, prototyping, to coding we got to experience the fundamental stages of the design process firsthand.
Challenges
In the process of building our project for the hackathon, we encountered several challenges. Initially, we grappled with the ambiguity of how to kickstart the project and what elements to include. Additionally, the feeling of imposter syndrome weighed on us. On the technical front, we faced hurdles because none of us had prior experience with Swift UI, making it a new platform for the entire team.
What we used
In the project, we utilized Xcode and Swift for development. We sketched out our preliminary concepts using Figma, and we leveraged GitHub to collaboratively upload and share our code files.
