We, civic hackers

We have been working on Civic projects from the past two years. Having been involved with organizations like Code for Pakistan and PDMA, we are very passionate about sustainable living and cleaner environments.

Water Sanitation and the connection to plastic bags

The sewerage problems in our area are very severe. Flash floods are very commonly caused by plastic bags ending up in the sewers.

Sustainable environment and more trees

We cut down trees to make numerous products. One such product is paper which is essential in our daily lives. We thought why not turn this into a smart operation.

Smartbins and Paper re-use

We aim to build a sustainable paper re-use solution that will promote cleaner environments, less use of plastic bags and less chopping down of trees.

Open Data

With our smart solution we will publish open data on paper re-use and collection. Providing a live data set for hackers and development organizations. We will also be able to measure the impact on the environment.
