I helped create the backend and actual formatting of the messages that would be sent. I worked closely with Quinn on this and learned Javascript quickly enough to solve some major issues that we were having.

Shiv Sundar
I worked on developing the backend using Node.js and Express. This was my first time using async/await syntax. I learned some new things about Node.js, and how to set up endpoints in Express! It was an awesome weekend!

Quinn Salas
I worked on the front-end, using SASS, jQuery, jQueryUI, and Bootstrap to a create a (mostly) responsive page with animations. I also helped gather the form data and transform it into a JSON object to be accepted by the server.

Jasmine Francois
I helped brainstorm and prioritize features to be added. With the code itself, I spent the Hackathon learning HTML and JS for the first time, and was able to apply them in minor instances within the front end. There's certainly a lot to learn!
