Inspiration

To build a web-based service that can generate a Printable QR code for HAJI Accommodation Location.

What it does

As many people travel from all around the world to perform HAJJ and Umera. Many of them are quite old and do not remember how to go back to their accommodation if they are separated from their Group. HajiTracker fills that gap and provides a technical solution to overcome the problem.

Using HajiTracker.com, anyone can assist a HAJI and register his details along with his accommodation coordinates into the system and print a QR code. (probably someone from hotel administration)

Printed label can be used in a plastic Wristband and HAJI can be asked to wear it on his wrist or he/she can keep the printed label in his wallet or bag.

Once a lost HAJI is found by any helper, they find the wristband on HAJI wrist or HAJI points to the wristband.

The helper can scan the QR code and it will show him HAJI Accommodation Location.

How I built it

Using php, mysql and bootstrap.

Challenges I ran into

Challenges were related to UI/UX and I had to work on 'how minimal components can be used to make the full process easier'

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

UI/UX Design and the simplicity.

UX/UI + Information management using QR code.

What's next for Haji Tracker

Add further HAJI information. Design a HAJI information detail page to show all entered information and the location.
