Inspiration

In our project, one of our friends faced a dilemma in the past. He needed help with homework! In his desperation, he sought to RoR, but to no avail - no one was looking to help. We want to help other students facing the same issue.

What it does

People can post jobs (and rewards for completing it) to everyone. Others who want some reward can offer help.

How we built it

We built the web app using CSS, Html5, JavaScript and ReactJS as a framework. We hosted both the backend and frontend on Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

The database management was extremely difficult to navigate since we hadn't any experience in the past.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to come up with this idea together on the same day of the competition, and we also managed to complete it (to some extent, although there are features we have yet to have time to implement).

What we learned

This is our first time working together, and we learned how to coordinate, with each member assuming a different task.

What's next for helpAd

We want to spread the word to the community, especially to those who are in need of help. And also, we want to make a mobile app.
