Easier connections with fellow students and mental health professionals while respecting confidentiality and promoting networking in a consolidated platform.
What it does
Instead of relying on platforms such as Zoom, we are building an end-to-end solution with an open-source video chatting component which allows us to keep everything tightly secured and your data safe — without ever having to leave the website.
How we built it
It was built using: Go (Golang) Web server (NGINX)

Challenges we ran into
Setting up the back-end was quite challenging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A really big accomplishment was linking a meeting in Jitsi Meet to the website.
What we learned
We learned quite a bit in iterative deployment and wireframing using Figma.
What's next for HelpMind
Building out the website some more is our next endeavor.
