Inspiration

We three have a passion for horror movies, so we wanted to build a website to share this love with others. We decided to create a place where people could leave bone-chilling recommendations fit for a good scare.

What it does

Includes movie listings, reviews for people to give recommendations, and an interactive Google Maps to show the audience various spooky sites to visit around the world.

How we built it

We used Replit to run our code, along with HTML, CSS, and Java, and we tried to use Google API

Challenges we ran into

We ran into some challenges with figuring out how to use an API with our website and opted for an alternate approach instead.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the entire website and how functional and easily accessible it is. With good communication and collaboration, we were able to complete this project in under 10 hours.

What we learned

We learned how to implement Javascript for our Review page and to include Google Maps.

What's next for Horror Haven

Include other features such as showcasing a movie of the month on the home page.
